About Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre
The Central Coast Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre (CRCC) is funded by the Australian Government. CRCC can assist with the provision of short term and/or emergency respite. We also provide a single point of contact for the general public, service providers, general practitioners and other health professionals for information on community, aged and disability services and carer support.
Support for Carers
We also operate or can link you into services that are designed to support and assist relatives and friends caring for someone at home.
These services provide:
- Information and support for carers;
- Assistance to help carers take a break from caring (this is called respite);
- Respite that takes place either in your home or in another community setting;
- Short or longer periods of respite care in Residential Aged Care Facilities;
- Urgent or Emergency respite for short periods.
